Just wondering if there is any news as to when the catalog for the Historic Arkansas Museum Bowie Show may be published?
Looking forward to seeing it.
Do not be uneasy about me. I am among friends.

Thanks for asking, Colonel -- we're shooting for the end of the year. Our funding is in place and the material is nearly ready to go.

I got there late Thursday and went right to bed! Did all the driving I cared to do over that long weekend. Sorry I missed you and your better half, I guess you bugged out early Friday before setup began.

Biggest and best Natchez show EVER. Quite a few new faces, lots of things to see, and a bunch of really good knives changed hands. And of course lots of time to talk to friends new and old.

I went to Little Rock this past week end to show some of my Bowie Knives and to see the book published about the enormous knife show in 2014 at the Historic Arkansas Museum (HAM).
I was totally speechless when I saw the book! It was very well done and is one of the few books I have seen that will rival Norm flayderman's Bowie Book of knives.
The cost of the book is $75. You may purchase one through the HAM by calling; 501-324-9351. :D You will NOT be sorry.
And what a great Christmas present for a special person in your life! I cant say enough about how impressed I was with this publication. :D :D :D
Here are some photos of the show yesterday....Hope you enjoy.
Chris...
PS: Please remember, I'm not Kristi Hale or Ned Huthmacher!

You´re welcome to post a few photos of it and a few photos of some of the pages, as a teaser.

Children at the HAM. Brought in Bus loads...No one got cut!

The kid in the photo sure likes holding that big knife. :) - No one gut cut? There should at least have been a few people getting cut on all those sharp knives. :D

No one got cut, thank GOD. :D We had one kid that stuck a hole in the table cloth I had borried from the HAM :o I had left mine at home. Duhhh?
I'll post some photos of the book just for you Hans... ;)
