What I didn't really care for reference that garish, red ribbon, is that to install it, they had to displace the monument to the brave soldiers of the 141st INF RGMT of the Texas 36th INF Div. It was relegated to another location.

Have not viewed it since it was removed. I wonder if they also moved the bricks surrounding it which are engraved with the names of brave Texans who fought and died in our wars.

Love them! What kind of ball is the Welsh Teddy holding? Certainly not an American Football, despite the shape and stitching!
