What's on a Ranch!!!

Postby teresa1971 on Tue Jun 18, 2013 1:27 am

Is there any Ranchers out there or do you know any Ranchers?

I am writing a children alphabet book about a baby elephant living on ranch…..

I wanted to know what starts with an A that you see on a ranch.

Can you give me example from A-Z what on a ranch?

There are some great books outthere about Cowboys, their gear and their life...

When I was a boy growing up I discovered an artist named Jo Mora who illustrated many western books...Not only were they very instructional...but, I love pen and ink artwork, I slavishly copied many of his drawings...Mora was very capable of taking simple line drawing illustrations and turning them into works of fine art...

I hope the following posts not only inspire you but serve as a tribute to a fine artist...
